Mia Miu’s debut fragrance is finally unveiled! We think it hits the spot of the brand’s playful yet luxurious spirit.
In order to create a perfume bottle that feels “unique, youthful, colorful and sophisticated,” the brand took its inspiration from vintage bottles and Miu Miu’s matelasse handbags. The opaque light blue glass flacon includes the pattern from the matelasse bag, while the red cap with the gold bottom adds playful yet vibrant contrast to the overall look.
What about the scent? The entire focus is to be very refreshing at the beginning and warm over time.
According to an interview with WWD, Miu Miu claims that the scent includes “a lily of the valley note, made by mixing jasmine with rose absolute and some green notes”. In order to add a modern twist, they also added “akigalawood (a note from patchouli oil made by Givaudan) for its woody and peppery accents.”
